About Pillyo and how we rate products
More supplements are not better. Pillyo helps you pick only what your body may actually need — and take it the right way.
How we write supplement guides
- Each guide answers the same practical questions: who may benefit, who can skip it, how much, when to take it, which form, and what not to mix it with.
- Doses and upper limits follow mainstream references such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. When the evidence is limited, we say so.
- Pages show the date they were last updated.
How we rate products
- We compare popular products on Amazon by what is actually on the label (Supplement Facts), checked against the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database where possible.
- Every brand gets the same rules. A product is Not recommended only for clear reasons: hidden amounts (proprietary blends), mostly token doses, amounts over the upper limit, or risky stimulant or sedative stacks. Pill size or form alone is never a reason.
- Products we couldn’t verify are never rated higher than “Depends on your needs.”
- Prices are shown as relative cost per day, because Amazon prices change constantly.
- Affiliate links never change a rating. Brands cannot pay to be listed or ranked.
What Pillyo is not
Pillyo is not a medical service. If you take medication or have a health condition, talk to your doctor or pharmacist first.
