Privacy Policy
Pillyo (pillyo.com) has no sign-up and does not store your name, email or health information on a server. Here is what stays where when you use the site.
1. Supplement check answers
Your answers (sex, age range, concerns, medications, supplements) are kept only in your browser for the session (sessionStorage), so you can pick up after a refresh. They are deleted when you close the tab and are never sent to our server.
2. Share links
“Share results” puts your answers inside the link (the part after #). That part is never sent to a server; it is decoded only in the browser of whoever opens the link. Anyone with the link can see the results, so only send it to people you trust.
3. Label photos
Label photos are read on your device and never uploaded. The text-reading tool (Tesseract.js) is downloaded once from a public CDN (jsDelivr).
4. Calendar reminders
“Add daily reminders to my calendar” creates a calendar file (.ics) on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
5. Server logs
The site runs on Cloudflare, which may keep access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. Pillyo does not use any visitor analytics or ad-tracking tools.
Product link clicks: when you click an Amazon or iHerb product link, we add one to a simple count of which product was clicked on which page, by date. If you arrived through a link Pillyo shared (for example on Instagram, with a ?from= tag at the end), that tag — which post or message the link came from — is counted too. The tag is kept only in your browser’s session storage and disappears when you close the tab. We don’t store your IP address, cookies, or device details — nothing that could identify you. We use these counts only to improve our comparisons.
6. Affiliate links and cookies
Some product links are affiliate links (such as Amazon Associates). When you follow them to Amazon or iHerb, those sites may set cookies to track purchases under their own privacy policies. Pillyo never learns who bought what — only the number of sales and total commission.
7. Fonts
The site font (Pretendard) is loaded from a public CDN (jsDelivr).
